Workflow review

Find where one recurring workflow breaks.

Before you buy or build anything, I follow one process from its first note, form or message to the final record your team needs. You receive a concise written plan showing the failure points, the practical options and the smallest sensible next step.

The introductory call is free. The paid review is agreed separately and does not commit you to an implementation.

Good fit

One repeated process with a clear result.

  • Site notes and photos turned into a daily or weekly record
  • Handover documents gathered into a controlled pack
  • Supplier returns copied into a comparison sheet
  • Service dockets re-keyed into customer reports or invoices

The review

Four questions, answered with real examples.

No technical specification is required. The useful evidence is how the work is actually handled today.

  1. 01

    Where does the information begin?

The notebook, message, form, email, photograph or existing system that creates the first usable record.

  2. 02

    Who handles it next?

Every handoff, approval, repeated entry and place where context can be lost.

  3. 03

What must the final output contain?

The record, report, pack, comparison or customer document the business actually needs.

  4. 04

What is the smallest useful change?

A clearer process, a better template, more effective use of an existing tool, a focused automation, or no change at all.

The recommendation

A practical next step, written down.

The written output identifies the main failure points, what your team can improve now and the boundary of any possible implementation.

01

Keep the record together

Make the source, owner and required context clear at every handoff.

02

Remove repeated handling

Improve the current form, process or tool so the same details do not need to be rebuilt.

03

Make the final output repeatable

Define a reliable route to the report, pack, invoice or customer record the business needs.

Separate decisions

Conversation, review, then optional implementation.

  1. 1

    Free 15-minute call

Describe one recurring process and decide whether a proper review is sensible.

  2. 2

    Paid workflow review

Agree the scope, examine real examples and receive the written recommendation.

  3. 3

    Optional implementation

Only if justified, with a separate scope and agreement. You can stop after any stage.

Common questions

What you need to know before a review.

What does the workflow review produce?

A concise written recommendation that identifies the main failure points, the practical next step and the boundary of any possible implementation.

How much does the workflow review cost?

Workflow reviews start at €1,000. The final fixed price depends on scope and is agreed before any paid work begins.

What do I need to provide?

One recurring process and a small number of real, preferably redacted examples showing how the work is handled today.

Do you need access to our systems?

Not as a starting point. Documents, screenshots and a walkthrough are often enough. Any system access is discussed and agreed before it is used.

How is confidential information handled?

Use redacted examples wherever practical. Any need to handle client-sensitive or identifiable information is discussed before the review begins.

What if software is not the right answer?

The recommendation may be to improve the current process, form, spreadsheet or existing tool instead of commissioning a software build.

Who would implement the recommendation?

Emmet Delaney runs the review. If implementation is justified, it can be scoped and agreed separately after you receive the recommendation.

Bring the process that gets copied, chased or rebuilt.

Describe it in your own words. No preparation or technical specification is needed.
